With a refreshed brand and business strategy, Hesketh Henry required a website that reflected its long-standing reputation for trusted legal expertise
As part of a broader brand refresh and strategic repositioning, Hesketh Henry sought a trusted partner to lead the delivery of a new website and content strategy - timed to support upcoming marketing initiatives.
The brief was to unify the firm’s renewed market positioning with an evolved design language, while creating a structure that made content intuitive to discover and easy to navigate across two dozen sector specialisms, areas of expertise, and a deep library of legacy content.
With a partially developed digital brand concept, Calibrate was tasked with delivering a sleek, modern, and approachable digital experience. Through a comprehensive design exploration and iterative refinement process, the result is a polished, modern design that balances the firm’s 160-year heritage with its forward-thinking positioning – visually striking yet intuitive and effortless to navigate.
Hesketh Henry has an extensive back catalogue of content and so it was essential to migrate legacy articles and resources to the new platform – all while preserving SEO value. We achieved this through a semi-automated migration process, successfully transferring hundreds of articles without compromising search performance.
With a dual navigation spanning sectors and expertise, individual team profiles, a detailed firm history, community initiatives, careers, and events, the site needed to surface a significant volume of content without overwhelming users. Through a sitemap strategy and tree-testing exercise, we developed a user-friendly structure that makes content easy to discover and important pages impossible to miss.
